At Bimforce we believe that the best way to communicate during the BIM process is based on 'Open Standards'. This ensures future-proofing and long-term support. To date, the construction industry has not been able to come up with a clear solution for communication between different platforms, standards and critical business applications. That is why Bimforce develops its own software tools and offers custom solutions.
These are application independent and facilitate cross platform communication.
Communication only takes place when information and data is interpreted correctly. Gelaagde componenten beheren
Met VerteX kunt u direct een bibliotheek van gelaagde componenten definiëren en beheren. De wanden, vloeren, daken en plafonds kunnen als IFC worden gegenereerd. Ook is het mogelijk om de componenten direct in te laden via een Revit plugin.
De online VerteX editor laat het toe om Type en Instance parameters te definiëren. Ook kan de gebruiker de lagen volledig handmatig opbouwen. Aan de lagen kunnen materialen, functie en dikte worden toegekend.
Hiernaast zijn er een aantal specifieke Revit-gebonden eigenschappen die kunnen worden ingesteld.
Objecten beheren
Met VerteX kunt u natuurlijk ook andere objecten beheren. VerteX ondersteunt zowel 2D als 3D content, in diverse formaten. De basis van VerteX is een IfcGraph.
De objecten worden conform de IfcClass opgeslagen in de bibliotheek. Wanden, vloeren, daken en plafonds zijn altijd als volledige IFC definitie opgeslagen. Voor alle andere objecten kunt u er ook voor kiezen om bijvoorbeeld een Revit Family op te slaan.
VerteX ondersteunt het beheer van verschillende versies en laat u de data van de opgeslagen objecten centraal en online beheren. Hier kunt u ook nieuwe Types aanmaken.

Kleurenbibliotheek beheren
Het opbouwen en beheren van een kleurenbibliotheek gaat zeer gemakkelijk. Het is zelfs mogelijk om bestaande bibliotheken, zoals een RAL bibliotheek in te laden. Let hierbij wel op dat u ook gebruiksrechten heeft voor die bibliotheek.
Zoekt u een startpunt?
We kunnen VerteX ook leveren met een of meerdere Open Source kleurenbibliotheken zoals OpenColor en ReasonableColors.
Materialen beheren
In VerteX kunt u zelf online een materialenbibliotheek inrichten en beheren. De bibliotheek is volledig opgebouwd conform het IFC schema. De materialen kunnen worden toegepast op de gelaagde elementen in de bibliotheek, maar kunnen ook als element worden gedownload.
Daarnaast is het mogelijk om de materialen rechtstreeks in te laden in Revit via onze Revit plugin.
