Wat is GRiDS?
The BIM process is based on communication and improving the way we communicate.
At Bimforce we believe that the best way to communicate during the BIM process is based on 'Open Standards'. This ensures future-proofing and long-term support. To date, the construction industry has not been able to come up with a clear solution for communication between different platforms, standards and critical business applications. That is why Bimforce develops its own software tools and offers custom solutions.
These are application independent and facilitate cross platform communication.
Communication only takes place when information and data is interpreted correctly. By establishing an unambiguous structure has it also become possible to use other 'open steeth' like to be able to communicate. With our years of experience in standardizing BIM, we help companies to organize their information and communication needs.
Implementatie specifieke workflows
In dit voorbeeld ziet u de Onderwijsmodellen samengevoegd in GRiDS. Het voorbeeld laat zien hoe diverse databronnen zijn gekoppeld aan de modellen.
Op basis van de gekoppelde databronnen kan het model worden verrijkt met informatie, en kan een nieuw (deel)model worden geëxporteerd met enkel de gewenste componenten en relevante data.
Als een nieuwe versie van een 3D model, of een andere databron, wordt geüpload naar GRIDS, is het mogelijk een verschillenanalyse te doen. Op basis van deze analyse worden bestaande koppelingen geüpdatet naar de nieuwe versie. Eventuele afwijkingen worden gerapporteerd en zijn ook op te zoeken in de geïntegreerde IFC viewer.
Maar de toepassingen zijn veel breder. In dit voorbeeld worden meerdere koppelingen gemaakt. Naast het hang- en sluitwerk wordt ook een afwerkingsstaat op ruimtetype toegevoegd. En een technische omschrijving aan het constructiemodel. Tot slot wordt er nog een algemene template toegevoegd die het mogelijk maakt om op NL/SfB code de modellen op te knippen in deelmodellen.
Dit zorgt ervoor dat naast de verrijkte Ifc modellen ook verrijkte deelmodellen kunnen worden geexporteerd. U kunt iedere partij voorzien van exact de informatie die nodig is zonder enige overbodige toevoeging.

Implementatie specifieke workflows
Hier gebruikt BUVA een maatwerk implementatie GRiDS om op basis van een IFC-of Revitmodel de hang- en sluitwerkstaat automatisch te genereren, gevuld met relevante informatie uit het 3D model.
De uittrekstaat wordt voorzien van het slotadvies door de projectadviseur van BUVA en vervolgens toegevoegd aan GRiDS. GRiDS automatiseert de koppeling van het slotadvies aan het model. Op basis van deze koppeling kan met GRiDS vervolgens een nieuw IFC model worden gegenereerd met hierin relevante informatie voor hang- en sluitwerk.
